    Pantry

It’s always important to keep a well-stocked pantry of essentials. Our Pantry category can help you do just that, with a variety of shelf-stable products like canned goods and snacks, as well as a whole line of delicious thaw and bake artisan breads. It’s easy to make appetizers and meals with all of these amazing choices, so fill your kitchen with everything you need to craft delectable recipes.

The building blocks of a well-stocked pantry

A fully stocked pantry has everything a chef or home cook could need to pull together a few satisfying dishes. Chefs, of course, cook on a much larger scale, but both require some common pantry staples to keep everything running smoothly:

    • Beans & Legumes - A convenient and affordable source of plant-based protein, beans and legumes are a simple way to round out a meal. Used across many different cuisines around the world, beans, lentils, and chickpeas fit easily into a wide variety of dishes. Beans and legumes are an easy, budget-friendly way to fill your pantry.
    • Breads - Not only is bread an amazingly delicious source of carbs (and happiness), it’s also a pantry staple for much of the world. The foundation for incredible toast, sandwiches and burgers, gourmet crostini, or even bread pudding, stuffing, or croutons, bread is always a good option to keep on hand.
    • Nuts & Seeds - Crunchy and packed full of healthy fats and protein, nuts and seeds are endlessly versatile. They can be used to add texture to any number of baked goods or dishes, ground into pastes for flavorful pestos and sauces, or simply roasted and enjoyed as is.
    • Crackers & Snacks - Let’s not forget about snacks! These delicious treats add a delightful crunch to any snacktime experience, but they can also be used to add texture or breading to other dishes. We carry a variety of imported and domestic crackers and chips, perfect for enjoying on a charcuterie board or alongside a sandwich.

Spanish Snacks: Torres Chips are a Pantry Favorite

Made in small batches in Spain, Torres potato chips are true artisan snacks with a delightfully light, crisp crunch and a variety of unique flavors. Made using entirely Spanish ingredients, these chips are perfectly sized for an on-the-go snack or as an accompaniment to a gourmet sandwich. Try our best selling Truffle or Extra Virgin Olive Oil flavors if you’re not sure which delectable flavor to get first!

    Quick and Easy Pantry Appetizers

The pantry category holds some delicious ready-to-eat appetizers, but it also holds endless possibilities for cooking inspiration. Here are a couple of our favorite party-ready appetizers:

    • Dolmas - A perfect party food, dolmas are a flavorful two-bite appetizer of spiced rice wrapped in tender grape leaves. Put out a platter of delicious dolmas for a party, enjoy them as part of a charcuterie board, or even serve them alongside other Mediterranean-style dishes.
    • Antipasto Trays - Packed full of goodies, Olli all-in-one antipasto trays feature Olli cured meats, plus a variety of accoutrements like cheese and olives. These antipasto assortments can be served right out of the tray, or added to your own platter or cutting board for an easy upgrade.

And here are a couple of appetizer recipes using ingredients from our pantry and Shelves:

    Recipe: Sun-Dried Tomato Crostini

      Instructions:

      1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
      2. Slice baguette into 1/2" slices and drizzle or brush with olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
      3. Bake for approximately 7 minutes, or until bread is crisp and toasted. Let cool slightly.
      4. Spread a thin layer of goat cheese on each toasted bread slice. If the cheese is too firm to spread, microwave in a bowl for about 15 seconds.
      5. Top each slice with sun dried tomatoes and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Enjoy!

    Recipe: Roasted Nuts

      Instructions:

      1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
      2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
      3. In a large bowl, combine nuts, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
      4. Spread the nut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet evenly.
      5. Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes. Stir the nuts and bake another 5-10 minutes until toasted and golden brown.
      6. Let cool before eating. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature, or 2-3 weeks in the fridge.
