Serpis was founded in the 1920s by Cándido Miró Rabasa in the city of Alcoy. He industrialized the process of stuffing and packaging anchovy stuffed olives, having a pitting machine prepared by the beginning of 1926, when he officially established Serpis. As Serpis grew, Cándido Miró continued innovating and adding new pitting and stuffing machines, which he helped to design. Through Cándido Miró’s efforts, Serpis has always maintained traditional manufacturing processes that has allowed them to offer products with fantastic taste, making Serpis one of the leading brand names for excellent olives throughout the world.
