El Mexicano was born in 1981 from a desire to provide premium, authentic products that the market was lacking at the time. El Mexicano began as a small business that peddled homemade artisanal Mexican cheeses and creams to local stores, eventually expanding and operating out of a state of the art production facility producing hundreds of packaged dairy goods.
