Product Description
From Italy
Artichoke Hearts Marinated in Sunflower Oil by Delizia originate from the flatlands around the Italian city of Foggia, grown in mineral-rich soils that yield some of the world’s richest vegetables with exceptional, unique flavors. Artichoke Hearts Marinated in Sunflower Oil by Delizia are subjected to an “extra-short” supply chain in order to preserve their freshness and aroma.
Serving Suggestions: Because they come seasoned and marinated in oil, Artichoke Hearts Marinated in Sunflower Oil by Delizia can be served as is on an antipasto platter, halved and grilled, or diced into pasta salads or rice. Artichoke with Stems in Sunflower Oil by Delizia can also be used as a topping for pizza, in pasta, or risotto.
Producer Spotlight
Delizia operates out of Puglia, Italy’s largest vegetable growing region, with soil containing unique minerals from volcanic activity and an old sea the lands used to be a seabed for. Delizia is careful to only harvest their vegetables at the height of their ripeness before transporting them to a processing plant for washing, trimming, and jarring as part of their “extra-short” supply chain that preserves the freshness and aroma of their products.
