After years of research, Safrante created the world’s first 100% natural saffron extract in 2000. By 2007, Safrante entered the global market, sparking a growth that would eventually lead to the Spain-based company having a presence in over 20 countries across 4 continents. This growth led to the creation of Safrante Global Company in 2013, which would become the first saffron specialist in Spain to obtain both IFS and BRC certificates, two of the most difficulty to obtain food certificates in the world.
