    Named for its place of origin in the Auvergne region of France, Bleu d'Auvergne Cheese is a delicious blue cheese with prominent blue-green veining. Made much like its cousin Roquefort, but with cow's milk instead of sheep's milk, Bleu d'Auvergne is a similarly strong, pungent cheese but with a creamier, more buttery taste and a less salty bite. 

    • Cooking Suggestions: Bleu d'Auvergne is perfectly at home on a cheese board or charcuterie board, added to a vinaigrette, or simply crumbled over a salad. Because of its excellent meltability, it can also be blended into a bechamel or other pasta sauce, or used to flavor souffles and egg dishes.
    • Suggested Parings: This blue, like many blues, is perfectly paired fresh fruit, honey, and full-bodied reds or sweet dessert wines.
