    From Peru

A unique hot pepper from the Andes, Rocoto Peppers are best known for their bold, spicy flavor, with a Scoville rating that ranges from 50,000 to 250,000 SHU. These peppers can becan be eaten on their own, puréed in sauces and dishes, used in fresh salsas, made into a paste, or blended into hot sauces, stews, and traditional Peruvian and Bolivian dishes.
