Ciao, a brand of Compagnia Mercantile D’Oltremare, offers a selection of products that have been developed and refined through years of experience and evolution. The company was established in Campania, 1979 by Mr. Lino Cutolo, after years of field experience and training in the industries of food preservation and infused with the confidence and wisdom required for starting a business by his mentors. With his brothers joining him in the endeavor, he focused on entering the foreign markets of Africa and the United States. They started out exclusively selling concentrated and peeled tomato products, using carefully hand picked tomatoes with both chef and pizzaioli in mind. The company evolved as the brothers decided to incorporate other items evocative of of true Italian Campania traditions, a result of ongoing research of the products and traditions quintessential of his homeland. With these changes, Mr. Lino Cutolo and his brothers have made great strides with the company, allowing it to thrive on the global market to this day.
