In 1940, Grover Hutcherson bought and restored the Orestes Packing company, establishing what would develop into an iconic family-run Indiana business with a brand, Sacramento, that is synonymous with passion and quality. All tomatoes come from the company’s proprietary seed-breeding program, and are grown in the Midwest by American farmers, managed by the company from the field to the company’s processing centers. This passion and attention to detail, combined with close long-term relationships with equally passionate growers spanning several generations, the company is allowed to bolster their strength, quality, and growth, delivering only the freshest, highest-quality tomato products that live up to a reputation they’ve grown and developed over 70 years of hard work.
