San Ignacio began in 1939 in the city of Rosario in Santa Fe, Argentina, when Don Ignacio Rodriguez Soto began dairy farming. With his conviction and passion driving the company toward sustained growth, San Ignacio products eventually began to be distributed throughout the country. This growth drove the company to expand their processing plant in 1997 with a move to Sauce Viejo, and subsequently led to the acquisition of a new plant in the city of Hipatia in August 1998. With investments in technology, infrastructure, and employee training focused on strict production processes, San Ignacio’s products have reached the highest level of purity with an increase in production resulting in them processing 27 million liters of milk for their products.
