Product Description
Polenta Bramata Traditional by Roncaia is a finely ground golden yellow cornmeal made from milled maize.
Directions: Bring 8-1/2 - 10-1/2 cups of salted water to a rapid boil in a non-stick pan and add 2 Tbsp olive oil. Slowly pour the contents of the package, stirring with a whisk or a wooden spoon over a medium-high heat until the mixture thickens. Remove from the heat, pour on a large plate, let it settle and serve (cooking time approx. 30-40 minutes).
Suggested Uses: The polenta can be sliced, grilled, and broiled in the oven with cheese and ham, broiled in the oven after being covered with a selected sauce, or cubed and sauteed or cooked in the oven with various cheeses. Polenta Bramata Traditional by Roncaia is also great for the preparation of typical sweets, corn flour bases, and Mediterranean cuisine.
