After learning his trade from his father Fano, Vito Longhini brought his knowledge with him to the United States and used it to found Longhini in 1950. Since then, Longhini has been serving handcrafted Italian sausage and other Italian specialties in New Haven Connecticut, satisfying local customers for 3 generations and serving Italian styled products in the area’s finest restaurants, pizza houses, and delis. Today Longhini is run by Vito’s grandson Rich, who continues to run the company with a focus on high quality standards just like his grandfather.
