Maldon is currently in the hands of Steve Osborne, who has followed in the footsteps of his father Clive, grandfather Cyril, and great grandfather James. In 2010 Maldon welcomed Her Majesty The Queen to their salt works, and was granted a Royal Warrant as official purveyors of sea salt in 2012.
