    Product Description
Green Walnut Syrup by Azienda Agricola Valier is a product that has been inspired by Nocino, one of Italy’s most famous liqueurs. Nocino is made from green walnuts, sugar, and spices, which together are left to macerate in alcohol for over 45 days, achieving a dark black elixir with a syrupy texture that is loved by many Italians. Green Walnut Syrup by Azienda Agricola Valier undergoes a similar process to Nocino, and similarly uses sugar and macerated green walnuts, but unlike Nocino, vanilla beans are also used in the process for this sciroppo di noci verdi. Green Walnut Syrup by Azienda Agricola Valier is a rich syrup that is as black as ink and as thick as aged balsamic vinegar with a pungent aroma, making it a perfect complement to vanilla ice cream, shaved ice, pudding, panna cotta, and much more.

    Azienda Agricola Valier

The Valiar family has owned their estate since 1484, taking care of and cultivating the land in a nature-friendly way that resulted in high quality products. In 1975, the family company underwent a process of modernization with Alberto Valier leading the way, which resulted in the company name changing from Campagna Grande to what it is today. Strengthened by the boost of their walnut’s popularity that began in the 1990s, Valier began experimenting and producing new walnut-based products in 2009. As of 2016, Valiar continued to grow, as evident by the 6000 plants planted for the year and their 40 hectares available for growing.
