Laura Vanderbilt has always had a passion for food and a desire to share that passion with others. This passion took a turn in 2009 when she purchased cheese-making equipment, leading to two years of classes, books, and hours of conversation with other cheese-makers. In March of 2011 she was licensed by the state of Texas and began commercially producing cheese. Laura's husband Jeff, an organic chemist, joined the business in 2012 to help it continue to grow and meet growing demand.
